For people who brew at home, most days
Two cups a day is about a 250g bag a week, or a kilogram a month. Most of us never add it up. Bean Awesome is 1kg from a different Cape Town roastery each month, roasted fresh and left at your door.
The whole offer
R90a week
Billed R390 once a month.
Less than one supermarket 250g bag a week.
1kg of beans, roasted to order and delivered.

You spend about R432 a month on beans.
Calculated on R120 for a 250g bag.
Everyday supermarket coffee, checked August 2026. Prices move around. No links out — these are local shots and figures only.
If you buy a 250g bag every week, you already spend about R480. If you already buy a kilo, you already spend about R390 — the same money, with a fresh roast, a different Cape Town roastery, and delivery to the door.
Monthly is cancel anytime. Six and twelve months are prepaid for the term. These are working figures until each roastery quotes.
One decision from you, then a bag of good coffee turns up every month.
Deliberately simple to start with: one kilogram, one price, one decision. More sizes and grinds can follow once the roasteries are on board.
Change it whenever you like — it is one tap in your account.

Every month lands on a different roastery. Here is who you would be drinking right now.
Roastery of the month
False Bay
Small-batch specialty roasted for people who brew at home. Beans chosen for a clean cup, roasted in Cape Town and packed the same week they leave the drum.
What would arrive
Five small roasteries within half an hour of each other, each doing something quietly different. The range grows as more of them come on board.
Cape Town to start with — False Bay, the Atlantic seaboard, and the southern peninsula. Short hops from roaster to kitchen.
Tell us and we will make it right on the next delivery. The whole point is to find roasters you would not have picked yourself, which only works if the occasional miss costs you nothing.
Whole bean by default, because it keeps far better. Tell us what you brew with and the roastery will grind to match before it is bagged.
Fifteen grams is a household average. Filter is often a little less; an espresso double is often a little more. Two cups a day at that rate is about 210g a week, or about a kilogram in a 30-day month.
It is the same coffee with more packaging trips. Four everyday 250g bags at about R120 is roughly R480 a month. A supermarket kilo sits around R390. Bean Awesome is priced with that kilo.
A month is a bit over four weeks, so the weekly figure is what it feels like to spend, not four times the bill. You are billed R390 once a month.
On the monthly plan, on the same date each month, starting the day you sign up. Six- and twelve-month plans are prepaid once for the term.
The monthly plan, any time, without a phone call or a retention conversation. Pause it for a month if you are away, or stop altogether and nothing further is charged. Six- and twelve-month plans are prepaid for the term.
You absolutely should, and we would rather you did than not drink their coffee at all.
This exists for the months when you do not get around to it, and for the roasteries you have never heard of. One kilogram turns up, it is different every time, and it is roasted days before it reaches you.
Leave your details and you will hear from us when the first deliveries go out. No account, no card, no newsletter.
We are looking for a handful of small roasteries to take a month each. No exclusivity, no shelf space, no listing fee.
